I don't usually review chain restaurants/ fast food but this Chipotle is different. Chipotle tastes like Chipotle anywhere you go so I'm not commenting on food quality. What makes this one different is literally 1 employee, typically the employees here look like they don't want to be there and answer in a monotone voice. However June is one of the most positive ladies I've ever met, every time I walk in she has a grin from ear to ear and is always joyful. She asks how I am doing not just what I would like to order, I've seen employees slack off and her pick up the slack without saying a word and with a good attitude. Her customer service and positive attitude are unparalleled. The teenage boy is also sweet too, everyone else should take notes from those two.

I actually like Chipotle and its universality, their prices are decent and the food quality is superb. Unfortunately, this particular location is underwhelming to say the least. As a student at PSU, I frequent this Chipotle 2 to 3 times a week. But my most recent visit was my last. The service is horrible. I can think of two friendly employees of the top of my head... but the rest? Absolutely terrible. I repeat my choices multiple times and am still given the wrong food, I watch each team member leisurely place my food into the bowl (regularly spilling over the side on the first or second ingredient), and have been charged incorrectly too many times to count. This location has a fundamental issue with proficiency and I will not be returning to this Chipotle in particular due to their lack of passion for the business. The good thing about this Chipotle? Ask for doubled anything and half of the staff won't charge you for it, so there's that.

I asked "What's the difference between the Burritos and the Tacos?" The lady started treating me like I was dumb. I interjected, "Hardshell or soft." Then continuing on she felt the need to explain that the Hardshell are made from corn and the soft from flour. I don't like being punished for asking a question, but I should have phrased my question, "Are the tacos, hardshell or soft, yes or no." Also I get grossed out when I see food that is being slid down the line and the serving spoon handles make contact with food. That's a is gross as seeing the lady's belly roll make contact when she reaches over to grab a serving spoon. Other than that, the food was good enough for a quick lunch.

I love this place it's beautiful and great food... The only problem is SOMETIMES the lines but usually that's not an issue 😋

I ordered an item for $ 6.70. It ended up being 8.00 because I got queso. The employees said there was a sign that said that ordering queso was $ 1.30 more. When I walked into the store, I didn't put my mind into reading signs on their store. But they expected and assumed that I read that sign. They just assumed that I read it. They let me buy my item for $ 6.70 one time, but were rude and were talking behind my back about how I and other customers are expected to read those signs. They shouldn't expect customers to read those signs, and they shouldn't assume that they have read that sign. Going through the food during an order and saying if they want something and they when the item is ringed up they find out that the item costs more is a dick move. This place has the most idiot employees. I've worked for retail, and one of the most important concepts that I was thought was to never assume anything. But these idiots assume. If you buy an item, prepare to be surprised by the price.
