Good lord this place is good! This is my new favorite vegan restaurant. Their vegan cheeseburger was the best vegan burger I've ever had! The flavor was unique. The portion to price seemed fair here, especially for this level of quality. We got plenty to eat without leaving feeling ripped off. We can't wait to go back! I recommend setting reservations ahead of time if you can because it gets busy. We popped in at dinner time without reservations and waited for a bit, but boy was it worth it!

Amazing vegan cuisine ! World class chef's prepare specialized vegan cuisine with a contemporary flare. Creative, delicious, outstanding presentation, paired with a talented service staff who are very friendly. Trendy spot to visit, you will not be disappointed. I have yet to not love everything about my experience each time I visit. From small plates to dessert, the scratch, local, fresh, vegan dishes are unmatched. That means a lot coming from me as I am a 5 star rated Executive Chef myself. Best regards, Chef Timothy Henley

Amazing vegan place. I was in Portland 2 days and found this restaurant on yelp. Reviews was amazing and I chose blossoming lotus for my dinner. Definitely, it was good choice, because I got super tasty food! I visited more than 100 vegan places around USA and this one in my TOP10. Thank you, guys!

So, so good! Very happy that all the menu items are vegan. Great service and pleasant atmosphere, very kind people. The cheese burger was very delicious and had its own unique taste to it–not a general black bean burger! Recommend the cheese plate as an appetizer, all the cheeses are handmade and very good.

I honestly think you can't go wrong here no matter what you order. Their food is that good. It's seriously vegan stuff, no question. They don't even have honey because it's a product of a living thing. Don't pretend that's important, it's just an indicator of how pure your vegan experience will be. I'm a meat eater and I LOVE this place. Get over any anti-vegan bias you may have and give BL a shot. You will not be subjected to activism; all you'll get is some of Portland's finest affordable eats.
