Food was exceptionsl and delicious and well deserving of all the hype. We did have a difficult time obtaining a reservation but really enjoyed our meals. There are very few tables available which explains the difficulty of snagging a weekend res. You can order food at the bar which takes up the entire first floor. The dining tables are on the second floor. They have small plates and some larger plates meant for sharing. We loved the Egg and caviar, oysters with Meyer lemon mignonette, the orange endive and anchovy flavor dressing salad, the mussel toast. Excellent roasted chicken was very flavorful and about the best I’ve ever tasted. Also really enjoyed the cocktails and wines by the glass that were offered. The tables along the banquette are very close to other diners so you may or may not enjoy this because it’s difficult not to overhear and interact with them to some extent. I did not find that objectionable. I think it is nice to be able to chat briefly with your dining neighbors. However, if you want privacy you may ask if they can seat you in a different location. Finally, our server was excellent and made wise suggestions.

I love the interior updates from the old restaurant. The food was great and I do want to return to try other things on the menu, but I agree that the menu is limited. While it is served family style, the portions are small. We tried two pasta dishes which were so good we want to return to try the others. While I loved the bright flavors in the scallop Ceviche, I probably wouldn't get it again just out of economy.

Just went back to this place last night haven't been there in 15 years. Food was amazing, waiter very knowledgeable. Can't say enough we talked about the dinner all night Kudos ....

Food was fantastic. The menu was very limited though. I would have liked to see some more options. The carrot confit app was very good, better than I expected. The steak was cooked perfectly. The texture of the gnocchi was a bit too soft for me, but the taste completely made up for that. Our server was alright. It seemed almost as if he was instructed by the restaurant to hide his fun personality. I’m didn’t really take away from the experience though.

Staff was friendly. The place had a fancy/cozy vibe. Tables were a little tight together, but not ridiculously so. All of the servers were not only knowledgeable, but made the dining experience fun by answering our questions about flavor and process. Everything was delicious, especially the oxtail/sweet potato agnolotti. Best pasta dish I have had in a long time. Affordable, extensive, innovative wine list. Only thing I would change was the ceviche. In the few bites i had, it was gritty. Flavor was amazing, but couldn't get past the sand. Overall, a wonderful dinner. Will be back!
