Dining here is like a roller-coaster ride: there are ups and downs... Well, one up. That Up? The staff. The servers have all been very friendly and helpful, in my experience. They are the one reason I gave the restaurant three stars. The Downs? The dining room: it's getting long in the tooth and it shows. The seats, like a lot of things, are worn and the whole place is looking a little dingy. It needs some love in the form of a serious updating. Another down? The food. While I accept that they serve classic Tex-Mex, our portions were small and the plating was sloppy. For example, the Endless Enchiladas (all-u-can-eat) we're a bargain at $9.95. The beef ones were acceptable but the chicken enchiladas seriously lacked filling. They tasted okay, but the cook must have only thought about chicken when making them since there was so little meat. Finally, the cheese and onion enchiladas were only made of cheese, and barely any at that. Even though it was a total steal, I'd never get it again. And that's a shame. I'd love to return because old school Tex-Mex is getting harder to find what with the easy availability and popularity of area restaurants serving authentic Northern Mexican cuisine. That said, On The Border has some serious competition from local mom and pop shops and really needs to up their game if they wish to survive.

We absolutely love going to OTB. We go to the bar area to try and get Kelly as our person. She treats everyone like they are her best friend. John, the manager is also incredible. He stops by to make sure everyone is having a great time. Obviously John must be doing something right to have most of his staff with him for so many years. The food is good. The drinks are good as well. It's fun to go there for a night out.

Great family restaurant with delicious food and drinks. Ordered the enchiladas and a margarita and loved both! The chips are crispy and the salsa is savory, resulting in a great flavor combo. Definitely come here for authentic food.

Service here is very good. Waitors/Waitresses are very friendly and anticipate your needs. Food always comes out quickly and tastes great. If anything is ever wrong with your meal it is corrected promptly.

Food is amazing! It's my 1st choice for Mexican food. Plus the drinks are great. My son even loves their food which is s huge plus because he tends to be picky at times.
