Man, this had all the makings of a 5-star barbecue joint, but the little details kept it shy of 5. Pulled pork was juicy and had great flavor, even sans sauce. Mild and Dragon's Breath sauces were well done and added something to the cue. "Baked" potato salad was great, and a nice twist on an old favorite--rich and unctuously mayonnaised. Baked beans were very good, too. Service (read: delivery) was fast, although like others have mentioned, the self serve computer system isn't ideal as there is no option to select The type of sauce you'd like, so it falls short of helping you finish your order. The music was well-curated, too, or at least a good Pandora station. The not so good: "Jumbo" sandwich was no jumbo. It didn't even cover the whole bun. They missed the slaw on my sandwich (although to be fair the pork was so good, I didn't even notice myself until I was done.) The only thing resembling napkins were a single self serve can of lemon scented disinfectant wipes on the counter. Personally, i don't care to have my lips smell of lemon post-dinner. They must do the large majority of their business through the drive thru, as it seems like the sparsely furnished dine-in area is an afterthought .

This is a great BBQ place. I love to eat here. Personally, I feel their new computer ordering kiosk is impersonal and not a warm welcome. I prefer a human. Eat local.

Love me some Baby Jack’s. We don’t go anywhere else for BBQ. Great BBQ and sides, reasonably priced!

Update: Later that day, I was suprised the supervisor contacted me. I never expected to hear anything back but he explained to me why things maybe went the way they did. Jason gave us each an offer so we can try again if we wanted to. Today we took him up on that offer. My buddy and I are overly satisfied. It gave him a completely different opinion about it. We placed the online order ahead of time. This time, the whole crew in the back were very friendly and professional. The order was completely ready and we didn't have to wait. Everything was great today just how I remembered from all the other times! I've been here a few time during my break at work and it's been pretty good. I always order ahead of time online and pick up at the window. Today my experience was bad. I placed my order around 11:15 with a pick up time of 11:35am. We got there on time and our food wasn't ready until about 11:50am. While waiting, We see 4 to 5 people standing around chit chatting and eating. We had one guy open the window and asked if we forgot something. On top of that, the food was horrible. The beef brisket sandwich I got contained 70% fat and maybe a bite of beef. The coleslaw was bland and the bread felt like it was dipped in water. My co-worker even said his sandwich was the worst he's ever tasted. I felt bad for making the suggestion to him and felt even worse because he paid for it. All in all we were very disappointed. We are going back to Plumpys the next time we decide on BBQ because they are always consistent!
