When I dine at an Italian restaurant, the first thing I want to do, is ask to try the red sauce then decide if I want to eat there, but I refrain. Nicky’s red sauce is spectacular, probably the best I have had at a restaurant in Nashville! The red sauce was robust, and full of flavor, on a perfectly prepared coal fired pizza (I have never tried coal fired pizza) with fennel sausage, dollops of ricotta cheese and chili peppers..beautiful and delicious! Pizza is just scratching the surface, there are many other amazing dishes created by the chef. Hostess was sweet, friendly, and accommodating. Service was fantastic! It was Nick’s first night serving.. who knew, he did a great job!! Kudos to the Chef Tony, you’ve got a great thing going! I’ll be back for sure!

We really enjoyed our visit to Nicky’s. Our table was decorated with confetti and a kind note wishing me a happy birthday. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the drinks were on-point. We’ll definitely be back!

While the food is good, Nicky's takes itself much too seriously. There is a glaring lack of variety in the menu. What items are there are much too pretentious for pizza place playing loud classic rock, with wait staff in Tshirts & jeans. The prices are just as pretentious. $2 for a soda poured from a can and we didn't get to drink the rest of the can. Another $2 for a refill. The mozzarella & fresh basil pizza was severely lacking in basil. They could learn a lot from Max's Coal Fired Pizza in Atlanta.

I mean wow. THIS is real Italian pizza. Seriously delicious crust and sauce, not to mention the fresh toppings. The asparagus is so good that we usually get two orders to start. Also a great place to sit at the bar and watch the chefs create these masterpieces!

The pizza here was excellent. We had a white pizza with sausage and ricotta I can't wait to come back and have again & service extraordinary despite them being busy. The owner made sure to chat with our table & even apologized for a table of rude customers near us who left. This place is delicious and affordable. Will definitely be coming back.
