WAY to expensive for less than sub par food. The food is done so badly they drowned it in Salt. The service is not so good. Don't come here

Hostess seemed lost and could not seat people. Restaurant had plenty of space waiters were just standing around. Hostess kept insisting on a specific table despite obvious open tables. There did not seem to be any manager on duty as the wait line kept building up. Food and service has always been excellent but this definitely will cause us to consider going back. When we said we decided to go elsewhere, there seemed to be a lack care that we were leaving.

Great service at the bar. Many good food selections. Like the flat enchiladas and the spicy shrimp stew. Best skinny margarita on the rocks.

Tortillas are good as they are homemade. I enjoyed my blood orange margarita. Service was average and my food was cold when it came out.

I got to the restaurant around 2:20 p.m. on 4/14/18. I paid the server that was tasked with putting our order together. As, I was standing and waiting for my order to be fulfilled, I couldn't help but notice the cooks that were working the grill. The first thing and probably the worse was, he was wearing black gloves and placing the raw chicken on the grates. After he was finished, he reached into a silver soup bucket that in front of the grill that was filled with water and essentially rinsed his hands in it. Then as if he were blessing the chicken being cooked, he sprinkled the water that was on his gloves on the chicken being cooked. That's not the gross part. The part is he went over to the table next to the grill and proceeded to chop chicken and steak. Same dirty gloves. He then grabs uncooked shrimp places those on the grill and goes back to touching the prepared food. This would be a huge problem with someone with a shell fish allergy. Cross contamination is this guy's middle name. I saw him touch every surface near him. From the silver season shaker to the counter tops. His partner in crime decides he's going to assist by cleaning the grill after that round of chicken comes out and places the bristle brush, back on the filthy floor after he's done. This guy also has a rag that is inside the silver bucket and uses that to "add moisture to the food being cooked." Bear in mind, I was standing there for a good 10 minutes watching this whole thing unfold. Watching the dirty cook touch everything with his "magical gloves" that never needed replacing. I did notice he reached and grabbed a hot platter with the "magical gloves" and he realized they weren't heat resistant, by the way he jerked his hand saying, "ow,ow, ow." The line chef, who I guess was the manager at the time, started to walk towards me and I asked him if he was the manager, to which he confirmed he was. I told him everything I was watching and at that moment the second cook was scraping the grill again with the dirty bristle brush, I said, "watch him place that on the floor." To which the guy unbeknownst to him that any one was watching, did exactly that. So the manager sprung into action and told him not to place it on the ground and went over to the dirt bag cook to let him know he needed to replace his gloves(I think he had another set underneath the original ones? I couldn't tell, there was someone blocking my view.) And, just like a butterfly in the wind, the manager disappeared. My food was almost ready, I was completely grossed out. I wanted to yell at the guy and tell him he was going to kill someone and how there standards must have been thrown out the window. I told the guy that helped me take my order to my car that I would be notifying everyone of this and also mentioned the "Silver bucket of holy water." His response was it was "sterilized water." I then asked him, then why would they splash that, on food being cooked? Didn't get a response. Why didn't I cancel my order you ask? My wife probably would have killed me, she thinks it's odd that I just stare at the cooks in the kitchen. Maybe it's my 4 years of being a cook in the Navy? Maybe it's all of those Kitchen Nightmare episodes? I couldn't come back home empty handed since it was a special day and I didn't have a back up plan for a party that was going to start in 30 minutes. Besides, none of my guests got sick(that I know of?) Food poisoning affects people differently. I'm battling a cold at the moment that I've being dealing with for a few days. I'm attaching the photos I took and also notified the local health department. I'll probably copy and paste this on my Yelp account and also Google to let folks know that, their grilled chicken comes with bits of the bathroom floor. My family and I have been coming to this location for over 2 years. I don't always check in on my social media accounts. Just trust me when I tell you, please clean up your act. It's going to kill someone
