Still one of my favorite burger places, despite the rise of "gourmet" burger joints that are flooding Austin. I'm a cheeseburger enthusiast, and I've tried almost all that are available and this place still takes a top spot on my list. They consistently deliver top notch, belt-loosening goodness. The burgers are always juicy, and you can customize them any way you like. The bells and whistles are absent, so all you need is a healthy appetite to appreciate this low-key establishment.

Amazing burgers, I recommend the double. The single is a bit small. Curly fries are amazing! Perfectly flavored and not too strong! This place is super affordable and the best way to describe these burgers? PERFECTION. Perfectly seasoned, crispy edges, creamy cheese slices. It is an amazing burger. All walks of life grab a bite to eat here and people watching is fantastic. You wouldn't guess this place has some of the best burgers in Austin due to the very unassuming outward appearance, but this place is so good. The staff here is amazing as well! Our cashier was a delight and very kind.

Dan's is An Institution for hamburgers. Double meat burgers, curly fries, real onion rings, shakes...the Standard. Breakfast tacos, juevos rancheros breakfast plates, great coffee. Been enjoying both locations for 30 years and plan to continue. Thanks, guys. Keep doing what you do so well. Your most loyal customer.

Great old-fashioned burgers and delicious onion rings, but with modern WiFi connection. The service was great. Food came out fast and the woman taking our order was patient and VERY helpful on our questions about burger sizes and such. Parking kind of tight but people were leaving as we arrived right at noon on a weekday so we didn’t have to wait.
