The atmosphere was good except the noise. It was about 30 decibels too loud. You couldn’t talk, we even had trouble ordering because the waitress just couldn’t understand us. We asked to move outside where it was quieter but they said that the wait outside was 1.5 hours. If not for the noise on their speakers, I would have given it 5 stars. Service was quite good, food as well.

I'd heard great things about this place for years but had never been. Apparently I had really been missing out! I can't say enough about this lively French bistro. We got there right after they opened since they don't take reservations for parties under 6 people and we were seated inside. The ambiance was elegant, quaint and, not surprisingly, very French. Our waitress Ally was so helpful and patient with us. She was knowledgeable about everything we questioned. We all agreed (4 adults) that the cocktails and all our meals were fantastic. My husband got the French onion soup (he orders it at every restaurant that offers it) and raved about it. I had the tenderloin special and it melted in my mouth. The ambience and the clientele are a whole other fun subject as well. They were extremely busy by the time we finished dinner. I felt decadent and naughty and not really sure why other than I was enjoying myself at all levels of my senses. There is definitely a return here in my future.

Amazing drinks, food on point, friendly service, relaxed vibe. Riveted was cooked perfectly. Crab salad could have used more crab but flavors played delightfully together. Get there early to avoid the wait but you can get some delectable cocktails and chill on the patio if that doesn't work.

We came here last weekend with two friends, right after they opened. Took a bit of time but we were able to get a seat in the outdoors covered area. It was an interesting but not great ambiance because the floor was turf, and the fact that it was covered on the top and sides meant the area held onto smells and humidity despite the fact that it wasn't raining outside, so it felt a bit musty overall. The ambiance overall seemed to be going for an old-school fancy dive, but for us it felt too much towards the dive part. We ordered 2 drinks each so we tried a decent bit of their drinks menu, which definitely goes for a classic drink style/flavor/strength at a premium cost. Volume was reasonable for the price, but again the ambiance kind of takes away from it. We ordered the french onion soup which was done very well (not overly cheesy and great onion flavor without being too much). We also ordered the market fish entree, which was great, but no better than us making fresh fish at home, and definitely a small portion. The cheese plate we ordered earlier on was also pretty good, with a variety of cheeses which went well with the bread provided while we waited. Food and drinks overall met but didn't exceed my expectations. That being said, service was severely below par, not just for a nice restaurant but even compared to a casual diner. No recommendations for food, drinks, or appetizers were provided when requested each time ("everything is good" is not a friendly or valid answer), and the waiter walked away multiple times "because we needed more time" while keeping an overall negative attitude throughout our meal. Having heard so much about this place, I was pretty disappointed.

Food - deserves 4 stars. Pretty solid. Little on the expensive sides for what you get. Service - felt like the staff would rather be at Coachella or have the day off to continue celebrating 4/20. Pretty non-aware, no recommendations, no descriptions of menu items for the people who don’t speak French. Runner who brought out the cheese plate forgot the descriptions of half the cheeses. Atmosphere - overhearing “Austin feels very much like Dallas” should tell you everything you need to know
