I have been there twice now. Service was very good during both visits. Ambiance is very good. The food is very good. I had the spicy tonkatsu ramen, which I liked very much. I did add more spicy oil from the table condiments set. The noodles are thicker than my preferences. And while the noodles had nice chewy texture, they we're also a bit doughy as well. So not prefect, but worthy contenders.

Good food, love the tonkatsu black. Service is hit or miss. There is no hostess on weekends so you will wait a long time to be seated despite there being open tables.

I like this place because the food is not too expensive compared to the other restaurants on that street. I usually prefer the rice bowl here and pick the small size. Never tried the reg. Size. As they small was always sufficient for me. Getting good food for less than $10, especially on that street is a big deal. Although the seating is limited in this place and the food arrives late. But definitely worth the wait.

I love Ramen and was so excited there wasn't a line when I stopped by. The ramen is amazing and the staff takes the time to explain everything.

I'd choose Pho broth over Ramen broth at some of the places in Austin but this place is pretty damn good. Probably one of the best Ramen broth in town. Strong pork flavor in the soup, which if you eat soup like Ramen than that's what you're trying to taste the difference between one place to the next. The broth is legit. The pork chashu is very flavorful and the texture of the thick noodles actually entices you to add a second order of noodles as their sign "kaedama" recommends. However I'm on a diet and it's cheat meal since I'm with my lady. She loves it too!
