Food tasted excellent. Three tails entree was a great entree to share with my wife. Excellent value. Don't get the fried pickles; $8 for a saucer of them (maybe 20 - 25 slices?). Delicious, but not worth it for the small quantity.

Good place. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the manager or owner came up during the meal to give their perfect amount of small talk and check in. The drinks (margaritas) were excellent, both my wife and I loved them and thought they were a great value for 3.50 at happy hour. The crawfish we ordered were delicious, though I’ll say there was nothing extraordinary about them. All in all, we plan to come back.

Decided to try this place out as it seemed like there was always a decent crowd and the restaurant stuck out as being kind of a cool joint. Ordered the Chicken and Shrimp gumbo and it came with steamed rice. The gumbo, in my opinion, is just about on par with Papadeaux. The service was decent, the food and drinks came out pretty fast. Would go back to this place again.

As a New Orleans native I am eager to try Creole/Cajun restaurants in Dallas. Shrimp cocktail was good, 5 large well cooked shrimp, priced at the current competitive value of $10.95. Added avocados were a bastardizartion; their cocktail sauce was very good but a lot was wasted as it filled a large cocktail glass...better to put a layer of crushed ice under it-save money as well as food waste. A nice touch was a side plate for the tails, but it was nit necessary. Seafood gumbo, advertised as New Orleans style, was pretty good but another bastardizartion. New Orleans seafood gumbo is shrimp, crabs and oysters. Here it is shrimp, sausage and catfish. I'll accept the sausage as it is as much a seasoning as a component, but catfish, or any fish, is an abomination. At $4.99 for a cup with rice, priced right. Soft shell crabs (2) were the smallest I've ever had. For $17.95 it was way over priced, although I don't know how tight the supply market is in Dallas. Well seasoned and fried just right. They claimed a special Remoulade sauce as condiment. but it was just tartar sauce. Accompanied by a huge serving of french fries, again too much food waste. Service was very good and prompt.

Had the bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with cheddar and drizzled with buffalo sauce....absolutely fantastic. Had chicken an sausage gumbo for lunch and it was legit. Service was amazing, I highly recommend coming here.
