Amazing hospitality but the food was just decent. Depending on what you get, the food will be from “not bad” to “hmmm this is pretty good”. There is one item that I personally don’t like and it’s the beef flat noodle. For my taste buds, I taste nothing when eating the noodles. Only when I bite into the beef or vegetables do I get a slight hint of any flavor. The dish is so bland for me that even the white rice being broken down into simple sugars from my saliva had more taste than the noodles and gravy. You can pour in a lot of salt to fix that though. And the best part of eating here is the complimentary fried sesame balls at the end for dessert. Not sure if you get it every time but when you do get it, it is such an amazing closer to your meal. It isn’t too sweet but just sweet enough to satisfy and clean up my taste buds. The sesame ball is crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Prices are also pretty good. Meal for 6 is around 60 to 70 dollars.

This place is on my list as one of better hole in the wall Chinese restaurants. Do yourself a favor and try the crab fried rice, beef flat noodle soup and their duck. Be advised. Stay away from their wonton soup.

My late-night MUST when I travel to DFW. The food is authentic, consistent, and delightful. The waitstaff is efficient, helpful, and is sure to give you the best tasting recommendations for particular dishes. Been going here for years and crave it when my plane lands. Highly recommend their salt pepper squid, noodles with XO sauce, and Peking duck. Hard to go wrong when the food is always so right.

Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She explained any questions we had. Food was amazing. We had roasted duck noodle soup and chicken hot pot. Both were amazing. I recommend this restaurant. Service and food was great.
