My daughter found this place on Yelp. We drove there from Love Field and we started driving through some pretty sketchy neighborhoods. I was getting really nervous but then we ended up in a very what seems to be trendy part of the Dallas area. The barbecue was off-the-charts delicious. Get as many sides as you can and eat as much barbecue as you can get on your plate. You will definitely be back.

This place is awesome. Great music. Friendly staff. The line to order and get your food is LONG. I waited 45 minutes but it was so worth it. Sadly by the time I got to order they ran out of brisket. I ordered the jalapeno sausage and it was delicious. The ribs and chicken were amazing. They had smoked prime rib but I didn't get it as I already had so much food. Their spicy baked beans and jalapeno mac and cheese where outstanding. I also ordered the jalapeno margarita, this is a must it was so good. Oh and they wrap the food in butcher paper, so cool.

No need for sauce, or plates. The brisket, shoulder clod, ribs and sausage are all amazing. The sides are really good, too, but who cares as long as the meat is this good? Honestly, some of the best barbeque we've ever had. Eat here and thank me later. Be sure and go early because they will sell out.

Love Lockhart! One of the best BBQ in Dallas. The Brisket is to die for and they always have daily specials too that are fantastic. I also recommend the Blue Cheese Slaw, it’s awesome. Everything is served on butcher paper and you just dig in. As simple as it gets

Great Texas BBQ. Definitely worthy of being on the top 50 BBQ Joints in Texas. Grade A brisket with even smoke ring, delicious bark, and consistent flavor. The turkey is very moist with the same consistent spice and smoke flavors. The sausage is the famous Kreuz sausage by the link. You can't go wrong with the bacon green beans or the potato salad for sides. Don't forget the desert!
