Every time I return home to East Dallas, I am in awe of how much it has changed. I was a little sad to see the old gas station turned little barbecue joint (at least that's what it was the last time I was there years ago) completely gone. But I decided to give the entirely new, HUGE restaurant in its place a try and it did not disappoint. So much seating, a great atmosphere, and excellent food choices for a good price. The service was great, valet parking included! I hope this place does well!

Our party was too large for 1 waitress to handle effectively, but she tried very, very hard to give us her best. Also, the place wanted a guaranteed # of 25 for our party, or else our hostess would be charged $25 for each empty seat. I am thankful that our party did come out as planned

More likely I won't order the deviled eggs again but the rest of our order was excellent. I love the ambience. The restaurant has a huge patio seating that is also pet friendly. Our waiter was wonderful.

Just attempted to eat here on Good Friday. At 11am it wasn't too crowded yet. Ridiculously, most of the parking lot was coned off for valet. Left with little choice I parked in a compact only space. The waitress eventually sauntered over bored and unfriendly. But really, it was the food that offended the most. The fries were cold, unseasoned and burnt. The burgers were so greasy that the bun became a pile of mush. No salt and pepper on the tables. Do not recommend eating here for the high price and mediocre experience.

This was a really good meal to have after visiting the gardens. The deviled eggs are AMAZING. The area we sat in got a bit hot, but it was still a great overall experience. I'll be back again.
