Decent food. Tenders can be salty. Prefer fish and hush puppies here. On the pricey side.

Chicken strips are great! Also love the mashed potatoes and gravy. Lots of southern side options like fried pickles, corn on the cob, fried okra.

I had a bad experience, trying to order at the drive thru. I asked if I could get two thighs, individually- not as a combo. I'd ordered a combo already. The young man asked if I wanted a roll or biscuit with them, and I reminded him I didn't want a combo, just hoped to buy two thighs. He said "It come with a roll or biscuit" I gave up on getting a yes or no answer about buying the two thighs. I said the roll would be fine, and then got charged another $6. I went inside and explained my dilemna- the young lady said "Oh, I can just ring up two individual pieces!" I wish the fellow on the headset had been as perceptive, but he was arguing with me and trying to rush me through. I love Chicken Express but have often been disappointed with this location.

Fast service and great food. They always seem to give an extra tender on a #1 or #2 which is nice in case one ends up being kinda small.

A favorite since my childhood. While most of menue is deep fried. It's delicious! I would eat there more often, but I can't eat fried chicken every day and maintain a waist line.
