Great place to eat and have fun. Family friendly and even great for date nights. Good for small parties and also big parties. Food is great and the drinks are even better. It can get a little crowded on weekends but the staff is more than capable to handle it. They will always make sure that you’re taken care of with satisfaction.

Great margaritas! I love this place for drinks and apps but the main courses are nothing to write home about. Service has always been good but expect to wait during peak times.

Every time I come to Houston I find myself at El Tiempo. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and I love that they have Fried Ice Cream. I am not picky about atmosphere, but I would say that it is a typical restaurant that is a bit loud with the tables a little close together.

If any place ever deserved 6 stars - or maybe gold ones instead of these orange ones - it's El Tiempo. Tasting their sirloin fajitas will instantly make you question why your taste buds didn't miraculously become sentient before and tell you about this next-level flavor themselves. That's not even an exaggeration. I am being serious. These fajitas may be able to defy physics and break reality. The staff is beyond gracious and hospitable. The drink selection is amazing and their margaritas will make you praise God that He created the person who invented Uber because hand over your keys after two. Stop reading. Go eat there. Now. There is no more discussion to be had.

We went for lunch and prices were reasonable for the quality of food. I had the grilled fish tacos in a homemade corn tortilla(it was huge). Their rice is a little different than your traditional Mexican restaurant but overall it was all delicious. My daughters loved their food as well. Lunch ends at 3 pm.
