Thursday night, sister night! Love this place. Have been going to this location for 17 years. THE BEST BEEF FAJITAS anywhere. And the Watermelon margarita was delicious. The best service I've ever had there, as a recruiter I wanted to hire our waiter for any job, he was that good.

The food was okay and a bit pricey. This is a chain restaurant that is all over Houston. I thought it was very overrated. They heavily suggestive sell everything. Their fajitas don’t come with lettuce tomato and sour cream. To get that is another $5. When I ordered they pushed a special for half off a double order. When I got the bill it was $6 more than half. Be aware when you look at the bill.

Pappasito's is reminiscent of a mystic encounter with the elusive Siren without that distasteful 'drowning' stuff. While entirely possible, it would be an injustice to conclude the review after two sentences. Instead, the passion and authenticity of the Houston-bred Tex-Mex chain deserves a proclamation of rejoice incalculable by the human mind. As a insurgent food reviewer, I have the intense pleasure to inform you of a culinary and social masterpiece that is this Pappasito's. It has the remarkable ability to perfectly balance throughout the flavor spectrum; not to heavily weighted on the salty/spicy side, and it doesn't sacrifice sweet for tang. Likewise, the entrées as a dissolved subject are balanced in flavor and lack not a satisfaction of the senses. The room is very loud during lunch and dinner flowing into supper, but this does not act as a detriment, but rather as a positive impact, showing the light of sociality incited by the restaurant. The building explodes with vibrant colors and welcomes you with a brief, necessary hug. In conclusion, I give it a 1/1 star. Out of 4,374 stars, I would only give it 4,373 stars because they didn't give me a watermelon.

I was here for a birthday party. It's a really good place for good Tex Mex, don't get me wrong. The only reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of five are that we had to wait to be seated until a significant number of our party had arrived. I can understand it from the restaurant's point of view, but it still puts the customers that showed up first in an awkward position. The evening is when the restaurant, obviously, is going to be more packed, so it forces the customers to stand or find seating around the door, which may or may not be available, plus we were hungry and our kids were hungry. We couldn't go to the bar because there was no empty seating and reaching or yelling over people at the bar is a little rude n inconsiderate. So that's a no go. So u pretty much are just forced to wait around for the others in your party. Mind you we came from about an hour away, so it's not that our people didn't show up on time,it's that we were early. Second, we were only served the salsa. We didn't even know about, nor were we given the option of, getting the green dip. FYI THERE'S A GREEN DIP YOU CAN EAT WITH THE FREE CHIPS! It's really good! Matter fact, the green dip is what most people prefer anyways. I would say give us the option of our choice of dip. Don't just bring out the cheaper one and not tell us about the other option. Also, with the seating issue, allow us to be seated. With the amount of money a large party is going to bring in, I wouldn't jeopardize inconveniencing them and risk losing the whole ticket. All in all, it was a good place. The prices were reasonable. The food was good. The service was good too! We were even given an extra server. I'd recommend this place, depending on what side of town the person is looking to dine on.
