Poor management and staff. Waited well over an hour to be seated and once we finally were, there were plenty of open tables available (which likely means they didn’t have sufficient staff, skills or both to accommodate a for a busy Friday night). Waited another hour to receive our food, almost all of which came incorrect. Waited another half hour to get my meal fixed and ultimately gave up and left without ever receiving my food. We’re charged additional money to have my wife’s tacos corrected. This place has great potential with the location and televisions, but it is not worth the poor service and mediocre food. A better managed restaurant would have done something, anything really to try to make up for the horrible experience we had but we never saw a manager or received any discount. Do not waste you’re time or money going here.

Very nice location. Inside and out. Not at all what I expected what I heard I was going to Sam's Boat. It's more of a restaurant then a restaurant/bar. It also seems to have more of a restaurant or dining vibe rather than a party vibe. Would be a nice place for a date night. On a more pleasant note, all of the staff were fantastic, the restaurant was very clean and spacious but the menu was limited, not very exciting and the food was mediocre and overpriced and atmosphere a dull and sleepy disappointment (if you are familiar with the other Sam's Boats). Those who are not familiar with the other Sam's Boats may enjoy the quiet atmosphere and enjoy or prefer the lack of party vibe.

Typical Sam's Boat experience. Sat down at the bar at 5pm. After a minute, bartender asked what I wanted to drink, ordered a draft beer. Quickly made and delivered. No menu offered. No introduction or name exchanged. No conversation at all with the delivery. Eye contact with multiple bartenders has failed to get the may I get you anything response. I'm sure if I finally yell out "Hey, can I get a menu" it would happen. Or when I finally drink my beer they may ask if I want another. At which point I could add that I want a menu. Guess I should have sat at a table for potentially better service. Lesson for these bartenders: treat all customers as if they are hungry. At least give them the option to say no thanks.

Danna was such a fantastic waitress! She made sure to check up on us constantly and the food was brought out pretty quickly. Food was great, but the attention to the customer (me) was excellent! Would come back again!!

Sadly, we had a horrible experience at this restaurant. My in-laws were in town visiting and thought it would be a great place to go. There was a wait to get a table and instead of giving us an estimated time, they said that there were just 2 or 3 tables to be seated before us....that turned out to be over an hour wait. Once we finally got seated and ordered, our food took over an hour to arrive and when it finally did, nearly everything was wrong. I asked the waitress if the cooks were new because of how wrong it was. I ordered breaded shrimp tacos on flour tortillas and instead got grilled shrimp on corn tortillas. My husband’s shark tacos were breaded instead of grilled. My mother in laws nacos had clearly been sitting for a while and we’re soggy. We asked for my husband’s tacos to be grilled and I asked for flour tortillas for my tacos.....we literally waited so long that we eventually gave up on his food and left without him ever getting the meal. They gave us my flour tortillas boxed up and charged us for them even though it was their mistake-giving me corn in the first place (I just ate the grilled shrimp since it took too long to get some tortillas!). This made me pretty angry. Our server seemed apologetic and kept telling us our food would be right out, but it seems like this place is just a wreck. Sadly, I predict they won’t make it unless they get new management or something drastic changes. It was BY FAR the WORST dining experience I have ever had at a restaurant. No manager ever came to appologize or anything. I was embarrassed that I took my in laws here and that we had such a horrible evening because of it. Needless to say, will never be back here!
