I was invited by David to come participate in a car show event to sell goods from my shop. The entire staff, and especially David took such good care of me. They set up a table for me, asked if I need anything, and continued to come back throughout the event to make sure I was ok. Even though I had already eaten, he insisted I take a burger to go. They hooked me up!! A HUGE bacon cheeseburger AND onion rings. The food was AMAZING! I cant wait to come back and eat. Thanks so much David and the entire Union Kitchen staff!!

I tried to share this with you privately but the email address you have listed on your website has a full inbox and my email bounced so I will be public. We had an unpleasant time at your Ella location tonight. We had a reservation for 7. We arrived a little early. The hostess was very nice and was able to seat us right away. That is where our experience ended. We sat there for more than 15 minutes and no one said a word to us. I felt like waiters were actually avoiding eye contact. Finally after about 18 minutes a waiter came over and asked if we were ready to order. We said yes and he said he would come back in just a few seconds to grab our order. He never came back. Before I knew it, it had been more than 30 minutes since the hostess sat us and we had not even received water. We decided to just leave and go somewhere else for a meal. No one said a word to us as we were leaving. This kind of service is unforgivable in my book. It was especially embarrassing because we had a guest who is not from Houston. It is unusual for us to receive anything but at least decent service in Houston and especially in Oak Forest. We are Oak Forest locals and we really do not want this kind of service in our neighborhood. I don't know if we will be returning but I really hope this reaches you and that you take it as constructive criticism and correct whatever the problem was tonight. Your restaurant is a beautiful and a nice concept. The service issue needs attention, most especially at the price point. Thank you for your attention.

Food was amazing. Wait time was not too long, considering it was a group of 6 people. However, the service was not so great at all. Our waiter was argumentative. He was very rude & condescending. It took the manager coming over to address our problems. I woukd have been delighted if the manager took care of our table. The food was 5 star. And the waiter was a 2 star. Making the entire dining experience a 3 star.

Awesome food, great ambiance, and relatively inexpensive drink options. Patio outside and I believe you can actually have dogs out there. Parking is a little strange, but not terrible and seemed to be decently available on a weekday evening. Would come back again.

Union kitchen rocks, I'm from out of town working on hurricane Harvey response work. One of the best n.y. strips I have had since I have been in Houston. Keep up the good work guys. Everyone is so polite and nice good to see people who still have good manners and service.
