Customer service does NOT EXIST here! I go in for lunch, I POINT and ASK for #914, the simmer duck, $8. I've never been here before--so I don't know what to expect. They bring out our orders and the duck is good. We are satisfied and then the check comes--they charged $14 for that simmer duck!!! I told the old man who took our order; I assume he is the manager the way he carries himself. I pointed at the number, I asked for the number. I did nothing wrong. The man takes the check and says, "oh so sorry, I hear duck and I bring duck." He takes my card--I assume to fix the ticket and then charge it--HE DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING! HE CHARGED ME the $14! I left $0 tip and I called the credit card company to chargeback the $6. It's such a shame that if they would have taken responsibility, I would have gone back quite often. That $6 cost them a lot more than that and I do not think they care one bit!

When ever I want quality Vietnamese and non-buffet Chinese food, I will go out of my way to visit Tay Do. I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years. The menu is varied with everything from Pho (Vietnamese Soup) to American style Chinese food. My father likes American Chinese food and loves this place. I love their Vietnamese egg rolls and their Sauteed Beef Filet over salad. You have to try this place. If you have a party of 2 or 200 Tay Do can serve them properly.

We were there to celebrate a college graduation, and had 3 tables. The staff was incompetent, rude, and disrespectful. We had to go get our own water glasses and refill water ourselves. The was a Christmas party going on that took up most of the restaurant, but it didn't seem that they were getting treated any better. The food was very mediocre and every dish was just plain sloppy. I would have passed on this negative review since I know every restaurant has an off day, but what happened next was simply unforgivable. When the bill came, they demanded we pay cash or we would get charged $7 for every bottle of soda that was ordered. Who carries around $900 in cash? So we paid them their ripoff soda fee of $42 for 6 bottles of 1 liter sodas that you can get at the grocery stores for $1. This may have been a good restaurant once, but those days are long over.

This was the worst experience ever!! The wait staff was horrible... No... I mean NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They stand around looking mad. They brought out our chicken very last after our entrees... By the time we got it we had to take it home. They just staired as we walked out ... No goodbye. I am sick that I even supported that horrible restaurant. WARNING: The crepe is DISGUSTING!

The family eats here a few times a year because the food is really good and it's something different. The restaurant is very beautiful and has a lot of atmosphere. The staff is very nice and food is generally served pretty quickly. You can get a really large variety of food here also.
