First the good. The atmosphere is very nice and the decor is beautiful. They had a saxophone player that was fantastic and I was told that he is there every Friday night. We were really looking forward to coming back again for the ambiance and I almost wrote a five star review as we sat there enjoying the music. Then the sushi came. We both had a New York roll, and shared a sky diver and some tuna sushi. What a major disappointment! I’ve never attempted to run a restaurant, but I can imagine one of the hardest parts is controlling food costs. I think they have that figured out here by buying old fish and keeping it way too long. We both agreed that Kroger sushi rolls would have been more fresh. This is truck-stop quality food. I really considered giving them a 2 star rating because the place was so nice and that live music was awesome. But in the end, serving yesterday’s sushi at a Woodlands sushi restaurant just doesn’t merit more than a 1 star rating. I hope they improve the quality of the food, and keep the beautiful ambiance.

Sushi 5/10 Sushi rolls 5/10 Appetizer 5/10 I can’t say anything bad about this restaurant, it just lacks anything unique. Food was good, drinks were good, but won’t be back.

The girl Kaitlyn that works at the front is completely lost in the sauce. I would recommend the location off of Research Forest over this one any day!

Will definitely not be back went for my sister and cousins birthday. First off was expecting a habiachi style meal where they cook in front of you based on the pictures advertised for this restaurant. To our disappointment there were NONE. Food was WAY over priced and bland. Was not impressed at all. We will stick to shoguns from here on our much better quality food and entertainment. Very disappointed in this restaurant.. will not be back
