I ate there about 3 weeks ago, and I absolutely loved it. The chicken biscuit and gravy meal was probably the greatest breakfast food item I may have ever eaten. I liked how you order at the counter to quickly get the order in, but still have a waiter/waitress tending to all of your needs at the table! The atmosphere was fantastic! I look forward to going back there in the near future!

The food was amazing! The only draw back was the seating not enough in door seating so we had to sit outside in high 40 low 50 degree weather with not enough curtain to even keep the wind down the sand bags to hold it down did nothing to hold them and the heaters did very little to fight the cold It was our first time to visit and it was very disappointing will check and make sure we are able to be seated comfortably or I will skip this spot We had a carafe of prickly pear mimosa's they were great My sister had the omelette with sweet potato hash browns it looked like My friend had the bacon sandwich with avocado I believe along with fruit for a side My daughter had the southwest salad of some kind with black beans and tortilla strips My son in law had the brisket sandwich which was good but his fries were way over done and dark I had the chicken and biscuits which was great If we would of been able to enjoy our meal I would if given more stars we hurried and ate to get out of the cold

Wonderful atmosphere, super friendly and attentive staff always checking in on my experience. The food was wonderful, I ordered the house omelet which was very flavorful, spinach was fresh, and those rosemary sweet potatoes do not disappoint. Another plus, I could actually enjoy my latte with my breakfast and not feel like I needed to get a real coffee after breakfast. My husband ordered the traditional breakfast, with grits. His eggs had a beautiful almost orange color and he seemed very happy with his meal. Highly recommend!!

This was actually my first time at this location. I ordered the lettuce wraps and the food came cold. The lettuces were not fresh and was soggy. I asked for sweet tea but they gave me a wrong drink. My friend who came with me for my birthday ordered a chicken salad but the fried chicken was very salty. Not sure if maybe it was a slow night or something. Hopefully the next experience will be better.

This evening we visited this location for dinner. For the record, it has been great every time we have dined here. Today’s experience was mediocre. Service was great, atmosphere, wine, dessert. Everything except my steak tacos. The tortilla was cold as if it had been taken straight out of the fridge and filled with the taco ingredients. Our table was visited by the manager, as usually happens when they are making their rounds... I explained that I was waiting for the server to tell her that the tortilla was cold and leathery. He apologized and took the plate and promised another. The replacement came back with the same tortilla disappointment... manager strolled by again... I asked if this was “typical”of the dish. He said that they typically toss the tortilla on the grill but that “We don’t warm them like they do at traditional Hispanic restaurants”. I don’t know about you, but just about every restaurant in Houston serves some sort of taco. The tortilla is 50% of the taco experience. Everyone knows what a good tortilla feels and tastes like, so I am not sure what his comment meant. He offered to take the item off the bill... which I took offense to, giving this option is the easy way out. Making a quality dish and taking steps to rectify that process is the answer I was looking for. I want to go back to places like this so I expect managers/ restaurants to take logical actions.
