I STRONGLY recommend their crab cakes dish and salmon dish 🍴🍷 It's a hidden treasurer on campus. You wouldn't know that this restaurant exists unless you walk into the hotel! I had a pleasure of having three meals in two days at Eric's! I really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. The place is perfect for business meetings. :) This place is also unique because the servers are students majoring in hospitality. Nevertheless, the service was amazing! I would definitely visit again when I visit UH.

The first time I went to Eric's the service and food wasn't good. I ordered breakfast French toast, I only saw the host to take my order, put my food down and cash me out. The second time I ordered the jumbo, it wasn't that good and the service was the same. Today I ordered a burger to go it was rare, I returned it and asked for it to be WELL done. It was medium rare. The hostess didnt give me a second ketchup when I said I would just pay for one, apparently they are only able to give one. On another note I went to the bathroom outside of Eric's and saw one of the kitchen staff walk out the stall after using it and go back into the restaurant with out washing her hands. I would expect the service and food to be much better considering the restaurants location and what we are all learning about service in our industry.

Student oriented service by hotel management students themselves. Service is not top rated and servers are not very attentive. But atmosphere and food are good.

I love it the food was amazing! Does anyone know what’s in the Capellini D’angelo? I thought it had eggplant? Mushroom? Tomato? Spinach? Mango? Zucchini?
