I took my girlfriend here for our three year anniversary and they absolutely ruined our special evening. I want to preface this by saying none of this was or waiters fault. Waited 40 minutes to be told that our food was never being made but is now working then another 40 minutes to have our bill paid for and told that the food was never going to be made because of how busy they were and that we could leave. An hour and twenty minutes from the time I ordered to be told to go on my merry way and they expected me to be greatful that they took care of the bill for food I never got! The manager on duty was a part of the waitstaff and should have not been left in charge of the place. He attempted to blame the entire mistake on our waiter who was clearly struggling on a busy night in a packed section. He then tried to offer me a free beer to make up for the whole situation. I asked to speak to his boss and he gave me his mangers number. I called the manager, told him everything that happened, and he guy did not even apologize! I am absolutely amazed at this! I have been coming to Shogun for 8 years and I will never, ever come back. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Horrific.

The sushi here is just awesome! Wait staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely a place I recommend.

Great restaurant all the way around. Jonathan, the hibachi cook was awesome! So playful, food was amazing! The waitress was really nice and patient. She didn't have a name tag. Sushi was customized to my son's taste. We will definitely be back!

Overall cleanness of dining rooms, could be vastly improved. Bar mixed drinks very, very weak. Lightning very weak it was dar at our station, bulb missing from socket, cleaning crew eating by entrance to the kitchen. Will NOT return for a long while.

It was fine. Nothing remarkable. The chef did a good job and like so many places in Pearland, the food was just kind of meh.
