The location on Slide doesn't serve any fried foods. Could be bad or good...Other than that, the guys provided exceptional customer service. When I visited, I had barely a whisper of a voice; they were kind, very patient with me, and didn't look irritated by the fact I had to repeat myself several times, and very difficult for me to speak up (I'd have a coughing fit if I tried to). The meats were very flavorful, moist, tender, and delicious!!!

I love their simple menu. The pulled pork bbq is my favorite. I put coleslaw on mine. Quick ,good and tasty! Does not cost a lot.Friendly cozy atmosphere.

Excellent food!!! No bathroom but special was buy one dinner get one FREE! But the catch is you have to get the same meat! But I was treated to the 2 meat dinner w 2 sides and a drink...both meals came out to 5 bucks a piece plus tax!!!! Not bad for a quick bite....and a cheap date! Ok...it wasn't a date...he is my adopted little brother! Lol...But excellent food!

A great place. Good meat and very large portions for the price. $6 for a large sandwich, side and large drink. Great value and food. All the portions I saw from other people were very large. Not busy either. Does have drive thru

Passing through town on business, wanted some good Texas BBQ. I love this place! There was an older gentleman and a young girl at the counter. Super friendly, and the man was kind enough to suggest a sandwich plate to save me money if I was buying for just myself. I actually ended up getting the brisket plate with Mac and cheese, and potato salad, and threw in some peach cobbler. The brisket was tender, the BBQ sauce was excellent and so was the potato salad. I'm picky in regards to my peach cobbler, but was not disappointed! Everything was SO good, that I went back one last time today before leaving town. The same man and girl we're behind the counter, he remembered me, and was happy that I came back! He actually let me have my meal for free! That was the nicest thing that I've had anyone done for me in awhile! My new favorite BBQ place in Lubbock now, as I'm here fairly often for work.
