I arrived today with the taste for some scrumptious brunch food. We waited for 20 minutes and was seated in the recluse section. I like sitting in that area due to the decrease in traffic flow and you are not sitting on top of people. I ordered the traditional breakfast with Turkey links add cheese. I didn't realize extra cheese was 1.69 so I will not get order extra cheese anymore. My other half ordered the from the seasonal menu, chicken chimichurri hash. Our order came to our table in approximately 15 minutes. The potatoes were seasoned perfect with the sauteed white onions, the chives in the eggs yum yum, the toast with strawberry jelly scrumptious, and the turkey sausage was cooked well. My other half plate looked like a work of art! I was quite envious of his plate. There was fresh fruit ( pineapple, blueberries, and strawberries). The service was good, a very pretty lady checked on us every 5 minutes and she did the same for the entire recluse section. She informed us about a survey on the receipt and if we complete the questions we get 2.00 off! Awesome, any discount for me is Good! We completed the survey and got 2.00 off, oh yeah! Try the place and see what you think, I will return!

This is the absolute worst breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in San Antonio. Period. I placed a to-go order and had the hostess check on it after waiting for 25 minutes and was told it would be right out. 15 more minutes go by and I'm told that the ticket was never brought back to the kitchen...40 minutes of waiting around before they realized my order was jacked up. Best part, I went to get my money back and they "assured" me it wouldn't post and I wouldn't be charged. Can't trust a restaurant that doesn't even know how to get their ordering system straight. I sat around for the manager for an additional 5 minutes but she was too busy on the line making food in the kitchen so I called her ten minutes later. Jill (Manager) continued to make excuses for her poor management skills, lack of organization, new employees and her elementary way of running a business. I hope this restaurant gets it together because when it was "The Egg and I" the place ran smoothly and efficiently. Get it together, for the sake of all customers trying to enjoy a decent meal.

Service is wonderful. I love that the food has unique tastes. Somewhat pricey for what it is, but I will be back. The Morning Meditation drink is delicious!!

Wait was 20 minutes at 9:30 am. Ordered a classic eggs Benedict and pancakes. Food was good. Waitress did take a while to come back and get our order and she wasn't very friendly. Overall put a good rating because of good food, and clean restaurant.

The sandwich was ok... I never got a refill on my Ice tea. The waitress never came back to our table to see if we needed anything. I'm writing this review while sitting here waiting for my check. I choked down my food 10 minutes ago and I barely got my check. I am still hungry. The price of the meal does not justify the quantity. At least I know now. I will not be returning to this place.
