Headed to the racetrack and decided to see what came up on my Maps for nearby restaurants. Was greeted so nicely and immediately by the owner as soon as we walked in. Then he proceeds to come over and wish me a happy mothers day and pays for my dessert. Amazing food and great value. We got the family plate and added a LB of brisket. All the trimmings and more. They even offer policeman and military discounts. We will return!

Family owned restaurant in a new larger space specializing in delicious slow smoked barbecue. Friendly staff that treats you like family. Everything is good, but if you're not ordering a turkey leg here, what exactly are you doing?! In addition, the brisket and ribs are tender and smoky, and sausage is good with sauce over it. All meats are available by the pound, in plates, or in sandwiches. The sauce is just sweet enough, without being pure sugar. Tons of sides and desserts. Police and military discounts. Really awkward drive thru, best suited for motorcycles and Smart cars.

Mr. Ed and staff were very friendly and the service was good. The food was tasty, not too greasy or salty. The ribs were very tender/fell off the bone, but not over cooked. I also had sausage, chicken, collard greens, green beans and cornbread. It was very inexpensive and I got a lot for my money. They also have military discount. I would definitely eat there again and take my whole family.

Was excited to try this place because it's close to work. Staff was pleasant and ordering was easy. Got my order to go but should have checked it before I left. The brisket and ribs were both completely overcooked. The sauce was great and the size of sides were ample. I just wish the meat wasn't so overdone.

Older, throwback 'cue space in a blue collar part of town. Limited parking in the lot for the amount of seating inside, but parking along the street is possible. Order at the counter and seat yourself. The ribs were excellent as part of my hefty two meat plate. The sides were tasty and abundant and the cashier was very friendly as was the owner. This spot is definitely worth a visit if you're nearby.
