The food was good but not exceptional. The pizza was on par with other "brick/coal oven" type places and the calzone we ordered was externally beautiful but internally watery. The pricing was good given the location and service was also good. As others stated, the place was a bit loud due to open floor plan. We also felt like we were the lone dancer on the middle of the dance floor at the table we were given but we are very much "booth" people. We asked for a booth and the one they wanted us to sit at was next to the kitchen which we refused. While there was another booth available, we were directed to a table in the middle of the entire restaurant. Shortly after, another family sat at the preferable booth so it was not a "server availability issue". The layout of the tables is just a bit too uniform/close to be comfortable since you feel connected to the table occupants next to you. Uneven lines and a little dimmer spotlight lighting would be welcome. The manager (possibly owner) was roaming the restaurant during our dinner and giving a passing check on diners. Few people want to "complain" during their night out, so this could be greatly enhanced by chatting with the diners and asking what they loved and what could be improved but its still a mark above others that do not even do it. Overall, I enjoyed our dinner but not sure I'll be returning since there was nothing to really catch my attention compared to any other similar place I've visited.

It took an hour and a half to get our meals, and it took another 30 minutes for my husband to get his meal. One of the chefs had not shown up to work apparently. If we had known that, we would have gone elsewhere. The food is okay - not great - definitely not worth a two hour wait. To compensate us, the manager gave us more wine and beer. That's not helpful when you haven't eaten anything and you have to drive home. Also, the alcohol didn't help the three children at the table. We will not return to Russo's again.

Very disappointing place. Service was fine, but food... I had the tortellacci, and the sauce was very thick and salty; obviously had been sitting around for a while. Husband and I also had the meatball appetizer, and it came very quick, so it also was not freshly made. Had carrot cake for dessert. Again, quite a disappointment. Dry, with very little flavor. Will not be back. Should also mention that the place was fairly empty, so take that as a warning it is not very popular. Very hard to see how empty it was because of parking is shared with other businesses.

I was visiting from Chicago, Illinois On Monday May 7th and wanted Pizza, my nephew and his wife eat at Russo's often so they brought us for what he called the best pizza on town. We ordered the real super large pizza and asked for half sausage & pepperoni and the other have with everything on it. When the pizza arrived the order was incorrect, half did have pepperoni & sausage but the other half was only cheese. We told the waiter Brian the order was incorrect, he looked at the ticket and went to talk to the person making the pizza's. he came back to us and apologized for the mistake and blamed it on the cook but said we should eat it anyways because it was half correct. We replayed we dont want to eat it because it' wasn't what we ordered. He insisted we eat half because half was correct while the make the other half of the pizza, we said no, that's not what we came for, we wanted to eat as a family together. Brian seemed to get upset and as he walked away he said "people always want free stuff". That comment was rude and uncalled for. We would never enter a restaurant order food and try yi get away from paying for it, especially when we didn't make any mistakes. One of the people at our table heard his comment , we got very upset by the lack of respect he showed us. We brought it to his attention and he said you can either eat half the pizza or leave. We asked to speak to a manager, he didn't seem to care to much about all of it either so We decided to leave the restaurant. I would like to say Russo's Italian kitchen is the worst establishment I've entered. The waiter (Brian) and manager on duty at the time rather argue with the customers and insult us then compensate for there mistake especially because they got the order wrong, they treated us, their customers with so little respect and dignity. I will post this review on Face Book to and let everyone know what kinda establishment Russo's truly is.

Ambient.clean atmosphere...waiter a little slow on drink refills, had to flag down waiter for bread, forgot husbands tea-sweater & lemon had tone & attitude when reminded him. He didn't offer any suggestions on appetizers or food menu...staff members not very inviting....never offered dessert. Otherwise chill, loud & only three other tables in facility with customers...so no reason for long wait. Lasagna slightly burnt, food ok.
