Good tasting food but not at this location (Newport News is better.)... The young man who took my phone order was breathing heavy and sounded as if he was eating and uninterested in taking my order. When I arrived, it all made sense. Unfortunately, they have a lot of young or seemed like young people working. They were all playing around, talking and laughing while preparing your food and the customers waiting. The portions nor the food quality isn't consistent.Since this restaurant is in a good location, hopefully it'll succeed. Please bring in some experienced staff before it sinks. BTW.. I've eaten here at least 2 times after"The Grand Opening". The Grand Opening was the best day!

This is a nice place for a healthy and tasty alternative to the typical fast-food. The portions are of adequate size if somewhat pricey. The sauces are a nice addition. Wait staff is friendly and accommodating.

I love Zoe’s and I frequent the one in Virginia Beach at Landstowns Common. I was so excited to see one open in Harbour View in Suffolk! I brought my family in for the Grand Opening. I waited 30 minutes for my food! The order was wrong but the meats were over cooked and ice cold!! My husband said he would never return. I figured they just opened I will give them a couple of weeks to work out the kinks. I returned today to get a to go order. What a horror when I got home!! First thing I noticed my son’s Lamb Pita was soaked from my salad dressing. The order was completely wrong! It was just wrong! I called and was put on hold so I called back! I finally spoke to a manager and went back. That manager was very nice! They replaced my order. While I was waiting a gentleman came up with his number and demanded his money back he said he has been waiting for 25 minutes in the dining room for his food!! I thought wow this happened to me a couple of weeks ago! They gave the man his refund and never explained where his food was! I finally received my order opened everything and it looked good! I got home bit in my salad and found potato salad in the bottom under the greens! I asked for no potato salad and chicken salad on the side! They gave me 2 chicken salads on the side! This Zoe’s isn’t going to make it if someone from Corporate doesn’t intervene!! Zoe’s has good fresh and healthy food so I want to see them succeed! Maybe I will check them out in 6 months! But for now I will go in another City!!

This place is destined for failure. We actually wanted to go to Metro Diner but there was a 45 minute wait. Walking out, I told my husband "well there's another new place right there" , looking over at Zoes. The fact that there was only 2 cars in the lot of a new restaurant in this area should have been my cue to go elsewhere. We sat down and looked over the menu then I went up to place our order. Steak stack with roasted veggies for him, chicken orzo soup with half a turkey stack for me. In 5 minutes the young guy brought over hubbies food. With each bite, hubs looked more displeased. "Very blah" and "not that great" were his comments. After about 7 or 8 minutes, young guy comes back abd says the soup "has to be heated and will take a while." Well 15 minutes later he come back to tell me it should be ready shortly! I tell him to make it to go since hubs just took his last bite, not to mention neither of us could stand much more of the overly loud music. In a few minutes he comes over with my bag of food, the check and a cookie for my wait. Got home, pored soup into bowl and stirred. NOT A SINGLE PIECE OF ORZO PASTA! A thin, clear, tasteless broth, chopped onions, celery, carrots and TOUGH chicken and NO ORZO! Nope, won't be back!!

Ordering online still may pose a wait. But I did go on the Grand Opening. Other than that, my salmon kabobs and pesto hummus was amazing..Once everyone gets used to what they are supposed to do, things should get even better.
