Surprising great little restaurant! I think our expectations may have been low at first considering the history of restaurants that have come and gone in the same building. El Puente pulls off the same look and feel of any of the big box Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is always good and quick to come out and the staff is always friendly. The best part is that it seems to be "hidden" because of its location. It's pretty easy to pass right by if you don't know what you're looking for and it's never really crowded.

I love this place! Authentic and delicious! They are super fast too. Usually my wait is only 10 minutes. The servers are very friendly as well. I recommend this Mexican restaurant over any in the area!

Really good food on Mondays there are dollar tacos and they are really good and they only cost a dollar. The waiters are great too they are kind and friendly. Other plates hear are good too like the fajitas and the burritos. This is a great place to take the family for lunch and dinner.

I believe this to have the best Fajitas in Hampton Roads. The food is great, the wait staff are hustling to get your food out, hot and fresh. Great place.

I love this place! Clean, great service, geat food. We allways sit at the booth, but they have a bar also.
