Awesome breakfast, best biscuits and gravy in town. The breakfast casseroles are pretty filling especially with their homemade biscuits. Try the fried apples on pancakes with a drizzle of apple butter. I love their breakfast menu. Never tried lunch or dinners.

Terrible service tonight. Not busy but we waited and waited. Biscuits were a good 30 minutes coming with 5 hungry kids wsiting. Food was over cooked, dry( pork chops) cold, undercooked broccoli, congealed gravy that had been under warmer as it had a skin on it, and OLD mashed potatoes. No small plates for rolls, we were given napkins to eat them off of! Not good enough tonight!!! Usually everything is good there!

I have always had a great experience at the Cracker Barrel down the road from Chesapeake Square Mall. This morning I had breakfast and it was very good. The food came out fresh and hot. I order the one egg with two slices of bacon ~~ I substituted the biscuits for sourdough toast and added cheese to my eggs. And a Dr. Pepper for my beverage.. My total came to almost 10 dollars 🤑Kinda pricey for what I had but it was worth it to get a hot and fresh meal. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't cold in the restuarant. It was 36° outside. The ceiling fans were on and the base board heaters were off.I was a wee bit chilky. Overall a good experience 😊

Always great home-style cooking. They usually cater to kids, but this time no crayons. The kids really like that part of their visit to Cracker Barrel!

Been here several times, always a great experience! Friendly wait staff, very attentive and personable! Food was great! Seating for 9, the wait was @ 30 minutes! We could have called ahead to make our wait shorter! I recommend doing that If you know you'll have a large group.
