We went to the 3 Amigos way up on Battlefield Blvd. Have been to one of the others in Great Bridge Marketplace. Food is delicious at both places, but the service at the one in Hickory is terrible. It's a shame, because the place is beautifully decorated with hand carved booths and chairs, and could be a great place with nice atmosphere, but they just don't know how to take care of patrons. Will continue to go to the one in Great Bridge.

I grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere and the closest mexican restaurant I had access to was the El Gran Rodeo near the target on Hillcrest pkwy. That has changed with this mexican restaurant that used to be a Hardees. Although El Gran Rodeo is an additional 5-10 minutes from my house, I would still rather take the extra time to go there. This mexican food was the least authentic I have ever had. The rice was terrible, the "Enchiladas Supremas" was HALF the size as I get at El Gran Rodeo for cheaper. I am rating 3 stars because they have a great selection of margaritas.

We ate lunch here and really enjoyed. Son got taco and burrito. Daughter got the kid burger. Husband and I got quesadilla relano, chicken and beef. Beans seemed fresh and authentic. We all loved the chips and salsa.
