We have our annual St. Patrick’s dinner at this Kelleys. We normally have 16-26 people in our party. Every year we call and are told no reservations. This year we arrived around 4;30 and were told our usual room, that would hold a group of our size had to be rented if we choose to be seated there, or we could sit in various tables in the restaurant area, but we would not be seated as a group. Finally we were told we were being allowed to use the large room, but the lady that had the task of moving tables together and getting room ready had a terrible attitude .We finally got seated and had a great waitress that treated all 24 is us great . The food took forever, many is us getting parts of our order, but no sides or silverware. Food in past years was good, but not all that good this year. The waitress tried, but had little support from the staff and management. Bathrooms were not clean, and no paper towels in dispensers. Many years of great fun and service in the past but pretty poor this year. Guess it is time to find another place for our annual get together.

My family used to go to this Kelly's quite often on Sunday afternoons after church. It has been a little while since we went there, so my husband and I decided to go for lunch today. This will be our LAST time going there. When we arrived, they had just opened, and we were the first, and only, customers until the last 10-15 minutes of our meal. The server spent the first couple of minutes trying to rush us to order, and we needed some time to figure out what we wanted. We figured it out, and then sat waiting for 5-10 minutes for her to return to get our order. We placed our order, and we received our appetizer, and then our wait began. We ordered very simple meals, chicken salad wrap, soup and salad combo, kid's Alfredo. I mentioned that we were the only ones there correct? It took at least 15 minutes for our food to get to us, and when it did, there was a glob of chicken fat on my plate, my son's food was the only food that wasn't cold, and it was very bland. Our server checked on us once right after the food was delivered, and then she vanished again. I ended up getting sick right when we left. NEVER AGAIN!

Stopped in for happy hour on anniversary. Enjoyed some cool, refreshing drinks and a delicious club sandwich & fries. They also have good burgers.

Chesapeake used to have exactly one truly great restaurant. Then they closed it down and replaced it with yet another Kelly's location. If you're into overpriced bar food and an incompetent wait staff, you're in luck.
