I would give this place 5 stars if the wait time wasn't so awful! The restaurant is super cute and the food is actually pretty good but the wait is what kills it! Went there for a birthday brunch and the wait time was 2.5 hours. If I had of gone there with my 2 boys, I would have had to eat at another restaurant. Luckily you can buy drinks while you wait so it doesn't make it that bad. I really wish they would expand because I love their mimosa flights and their coffee, but the wait time is why I will not go back. The staff says the weekdays are the best time to get there but I work during the week so I cant really enjoy a visit without a wait. Overall I would recommend if you have time to wait, but if you're trying to get in and get out, this is not the place for you!

Cute, cute, cute. They knew it was going to be busy, so they set up seating outside and served drinks while you waited for a table. Cinnamon toast crunch latte was unique and delish! Saw 5 different meals I wanted on the menu. Chose the captain Dan with added crab- UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME. Servers hustled and smiled the entire time.

Can't wait to go back and try something new! Food is delicious and generous. Service was prompt although our server, Bailey, forgot to tell us about the specials. Busy, but seemed to be running efficiently. Who would have ever thought a breakfast place in Pungo could be so successful?!

The wait was not short, but they have an outdoor bar to help the time pass. The day we went was a little cold so they also had a fire pit going (we all smelled like smoke for a few days but the warmth was worth it). Once we got inside JBC made several great drinks. We had the flight of mimosas and the crabby Bloody Mary. The avocado toast was the best I’ve ever had. The eggs Benedict on a biscuit was a cute twist. Sorry for the poor photo, I devoured my food before I remembered to snap a picture. My friend got the dirty hippie burrito and loved it.

The place is amazing and it’s not because my sister in law works there. The biscuits are so fluffy! Try them with their honey butter. I had the pork biscuit sandwich with coleslaw and honey bbq. The country potatoes are great. My hubby had the aviator sandwich and it was good. My sister in law custom made me a caramel white mocha; better than Starbucks! The waitress was awesome as well! Highly recommended!
