I have been to this place a couple of times. The first time the food was way too spicy (i ordered medium) so just keep that in mind. I ordered shrimp pad Thai and only got one shrimp in there. Second time it was really good order was perfect and the curry was actually really nice. Hit or miss i guess but overall is a nice restaurants with lots of food choices.

Don't let the somewhat dark and dank scent sway you as you walk in. This Thai restaurant is awesome! The Pad Thai - oh yeah. The spring rolls - to die for. Other entrees on the menu have never been a disappointment. Service is very good. The atmosphere inviting. A lovely place to enjoy some extremely good Thai food. Our favorite in Norfolk!

The food here is lacking in quality. Service is great and the iced coffee is great after putting some sugar in it. Used to be really good, but somewhere down the road they lost their touch. The rice was underdone and there was hair in the rice too. At least the soup is still good. Almost gave it 1 star, but the soup was really good.

I came in to place a $82 to go order and while I waited I wanted s beer at happy hour price. The bartender refused to honor it claiming I had to dine in. That was really is poor customer service. Frankly that’s insulting!!

By far the worst Thai food I've ever had. My meal was completely bland and flavorless. My entree seemed to contain a whopping 4 ingredients, none of which were cooked properly. Chicken was tasteless and chewy. Vegetables were cold and too firm. Rice was okay. Nothing was seasoned or spiced. It was like a watery, dollar store version of Thai food, but at a 5-star price. I'm not one to waste food, but I couldn't come close to finishing my meal. Uninspired and cheaply made. The portions were large, and the staff was friendly. Otherwise, my experience at Bangkok Garden was overwhelmingly negative, and I will never again step foot in there.
