I had an unusual craving for pancakes during church so decided to try this IHOP near the Pembroke Mall. The wait was long and my name got skipped somehow, but when I mentioned it to the host, she seated me right away. The wait was not unpleasant because both hosts were pleasant. The waitress was very nice and the coffee was great. My sample breakfast was better than expected. I was thoroughly pleased even with the long wait, but the manager should do something about the panhandling in the parking lot. A man tried to wave me down and got very close to my car window.

Consistantly the worst experience of any IHOP in the area. We swore to never go back after THREE bad experiences in a row. It had been a good 5 months since we have gone. Got coupons in the mail for this location. Figured we would give it another chance. Terrible service. Food was tasteless and/or cold. People from a few tables over complained openly about their service. Just not a place I would recommend. Both other locations in the area are much better. Go there.

Couldn't get the waiter to come to our table, he was to busy flirting with a table of girls. It was just us & the other table. Nobody else was there. He didn't bring out full orders, kept forgetting to bring things, never refilled drink, food was cold, he couldn't even find the time to bring us the check. My husband even had to go up to the kitchen to get our stuff. Luckily another waiter stepped in, and was GREAT. He was also very annoyed with our waiter. He took over and took great care of us! Never again.

Their pancakes are excellent. Service was poor, but the mgr comped us. I've been there many times before with good service.
