I have gone to this particular Subway for years and noticed that the services are not as good as they use to be. Went in there yesterday for the sub of the day. The employee making the sub did not fill the scoop as he should have leaving most of the bun with not meat. I inquired about this and all he could say is I'm not cheating you, my response was yes you are. The manager or owner whomever she is came and said this is how we fill. I informed her that I have nave had a sub where the meat only covers 3/4 of the bun. I told them that I did not want the sub.......AND to my surprise she took the meat off the bun and put it back in the container with the unused chicken and the bread in the warmer. Makes me wonder.......I will NEVER return to this location in my life.

This particular experience at the village shopping center Subway was not great, but also not the norm. The team was short staffed, but making a valiant effort at being courteous and swiftly work through a growing backlog of sandwiches. This is a small location, near UofR. The lunch crowd is a mix of students, University folk and lots of construction/trades workers and it is an extremely friendly space. Even though things were going a little bit wrong (my sandwich sat for a few minutes after being toasted), the staff was so gracious. The store is clean and I would visit again. The parking lot is crazy. Look out.

So this is subway, as far as that goes, the sub you are going to get is going to be just as good as any other Subway. The 2 star review is more for this exact location. Every time I have gone (which is now a handful of times) I have run into the same staff who just don't seem to care at all about their job or making your sub. That is understandable, it is Subway I can get by that, but beyond that, I am a big deal user and often use Subways text deals and using deals at this subway almost ALWAYS runs into issues. They always want to charge me more than they should and it takes 5-10 minutes of arguing with them why when a deal says $3 for any 6 inch, that when I order one of your premium 6 inch subs it IS GOING TO BE $3, yes that is why they call it a DEAL.

In four years of going to college right down the road, this Subway has NEVER had more than one kind of bread. No matter what time I go, they've always only got one type of bread. I don't understand how a Subway can so consistently not have bread. I have literally never seen this in my 22 years as a fat guy eating Subway across the country.
