Wonderfully prepared and served. The owner is very proud and excited to share his culture’s food and traditions and has excellent service. Don’t forget his wife’s daily roasted Ethiopian coffee! It’s divine.

Best Ethiopian food in Richmond I’ve had! The Gofu Special Kittfo was really good. The coffee took a bit to come out but was worth the wait. It was very rich and flavorful. We will be coming back again!

My wife and I arrived early at 5:30 and were the first ones there. We have never been there and were looking forward to it. Our unfriendly server suggested the meat sampler and veggie sampler. They arrived at the table on one large platter . The meat sampler had approximately 5 oz of meat FOR 19.95 and was fair at best. The veggies were canned and no flavor. Only the beets and wine were good. I cannot believe this is authentic Ethiopian.

I love Ethiopian food and have been to several restaurants in Philly and London and this has been the best thus far. Does not disappoint! Located close to Short Pump mall - well with the trip!

This place is one of two of the best Ethiopian restaurants in metro Richmond. The food is rich and flavorful the dishes are not watered down. I have eaten here at least six times. The meats are seasoned throughout without the gamey taste I have experienced at other Ethiopian cafes. I did not give 5 stars because the price for the portions are way overpriced. I ordered a dorowat. The gravy was earthy and delicious. It was gravy served with ONE chicken leg and injera. No greens no beans no sides at all. Just one chicken leg for $15.00 I'm glad I found something closer to me just as delicious with enough portions to take home.
