First visit was my Mothers Day trip with my 2 adult sons + wives, 2 grand daughters and husband. Very busy, loud, friendly atmosphere with good eclectic food choices. I'd say mainly southern in style. Indoor and outdoor seating in a residential area of Richmond that is seeing a revitalization. Lots of character hanging on the walls inside for conversation. I loved the old 'Dots Back Inn' sign on the back wall.

Insane menu pricing and brunch drinks are a steal! I had a burger which was good but not a big fan of the wheat bun. If it was toasted or put on the flat top it would have been better. Wedge fries are good but I prefer the standard 1/4” or 3/8” cut. My kids really liked their breakfast. Staff was fast, polite, and friendly. Great dive and great value IMO. Definitely going back. Under $40 for four meals and four drinks for brunch.

Excellent customer service and great food! They have reasonable prices, great waitresses, and a diverse menu. Highly recommend this place, it is a great, quaint neighbor restaurant. Call ahead if you have a large group to make sure they can handle your head count.

Are you looking for a laid back place to have breakfast? Cool, me too. Dot's Back Inn delivers. Sweet staff and great prices, coupled with the sights and smells of the all-American all-service diner and bar.

Usually very happy with Dot's, but this morning their timing was off on the service and the food. Took quite a while to get any service and then when the food finally came, the home fries were blazing hot but the club sandwich and omelet were both luke warm. They were both good enough to not complain, but could have been better. Will definitely try again. The coffee was good and with help from another server, the service improved. Still love Dot's and will continue to come here as often as possible. Been to Dot's many times since and it has been great every time.
