My hubby and I ate at this place after a very long trip from NC to NJ. I was kind of sad and tired. I ordered the cedar lime chicken just thinking about eat something and go back to the road, but wow.. it was so delicious that it truly cheer me up!. It is amazing how just go to a good place can change your mood!. By the way, the hostess was super polite and the waiter as well, very fast too. If we go back to Virginia, I will go again. Highly recommend it.

I’m not one to complain (see my other reviews for positive comments)but I am upset at the hostess at this location. (Didn’t catch a name) I asked to be seated at the very 1st booth that was empty at the door. (It was only me) She said no there’s a booth back here that’s empty. Ok it’s empty but the seats were absolutely filthy!!! There were dried noodles and crumbs all in the seats & she said she could clean them. Really? Have me stand around folks who are eating, wait until she goes and get a rag to clean the seats when I asked to sit at an empty booth and we walked past 3-4 empty tables that WERE CLEANED! Crazy!!! I said never mind and walked out. I thought I heard her whispering to the other hostess as I was leaving but not sure. This is totally unacceptable and I will not be returning to this Applebee’s!

As much as I would love to give it a 4 because I live close I can't. I've been to other Applebee's all over Va and by far this one needs help. I get the same dish at all restaurants and this place needs help. The grilled chicken needs teaching, sand paper never tasted good.

Last two times have been perfect! As soon as you walk in you're greeted with smiles, even from the Manager, James. The food has been amazing...we got completely different meals each time - nachos, burger, steak, and riblets were all yummy! And Justin is THE best waiter! Go see him. He is so attentive, patient, and super nice! He is worthy of big tips!!! 😁
