My girlfriend and I spent the weekend in Richmond and this was one of the restaurants recommended to us by multiple people (random people) while we were there. Pros: -The shrimp and grits were phenomenal. We both said they were hands down the best we have ever had. -Service was great, waitress was great and the atmosphere was not overwhelming or too loud. -Fairly priced. I think we walked out of there spending approx. $30 a person w/ tip. Cons: -Yes, portion sizes were slightly smaller than what some people might expect but damn they were good. I can guarantee that we will be back the next time we are in Richmond. Thanks for the good work.

This is the best place for a burger. I'm particularly picky with my food, not at all here. The waitress was really comforting and showed details on the history. The food was absolutely amazing. I will never go McDonald's again. They put other burgers to shame. I will definitely make this a regular spot for my Wednesday evenings. Can't wait to go back and try something new!!

Delicious, upscale, creative dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Helen's has been around since 1935, so you know they're doing something right. Only knock - just seemed a little pricy to me.

Maybe my mistake was going during restaurant week, but I wasn't impressed. Everything we ordered was overcooked and the back room was so dark you couldn't read the menus. Also, kind of unappetizing to be eating right beside the men's restroom and anyone waiting in line hovering over your table.
