Perfectly priced and the food is good. I love the oxtails but the stewed chicken is the best I've ever had. There is always a wait here but it's worth it!

The Ox tail is delicious and worthwhile however they never answer the phone and it’s hard to find a place to sit. It’s very small and usually sees a medium crowd. The wait times are reasonable. However, the customer service is lacking but if you’re going to take your food to go and don’t care about service, then you’ll enjoy your experience.

We went there for the first time and the food was amazing. I ordered the curry goat and it was delicious. The goat was perfectly seasoned and the meat just slid off the bone. I have gone to so many other places where the foods were overly spiced. I haven't had such authentic Jamaican food in a long time. I also almost gave 4 stars for the not so pleasant employee at the register, but the gentleman, who I think is the owner or manager, made sure that everything was taken care of.

Large jerk chicken with coco bread is amazing (and my favorite thing on the menu)!!! I have also tried the oxtail and curry chicken they are both great. Try their fresh made limeade or fruit punch both are super sweet and tangy! To go has always been ready fast even when they're busy. Friendly staff and great food!!!

Called Jamaica House on Monday afternoon wanting to order some cocktail patties. While talking to the person on the phone could hear her talking to someone in the background saying " him no know wat him want" Why would l called if I don't know what I wanted? However I told the person on the phone I wanted to order 24 cocktail patties and I would pick them up at 4pm. I told them I could not come there to pay for it as I was at work and on the other side of town. At 3:55 I walked into the store ready to pay and pick up my order the cashier pick up a piece of paper that had my order and name on it and asked someone in the back what do you want me to do with this he is here. She told me "the chief did not think you were going to come so they did not complete the order but you could wait for it and it would take an hour to 45 minutes" . At no time during the phone conversation did they told me I would not get the patties unIess i paid for it up front. I did not have 45min to wait so i told the cashier no and waked out the store. Why Jamaica House could not just let me know we will not do it unless you pay for it up front then i would not have waist my time coming over there and I could have order the patties from somewhere else. I was suppose to have those patties for a presentation but because of Jamaica House I did not have it at the presentation. So in the future I will avoid doing business with Jamaica House.
