First time visit, we are vacationing from Connecticut. For the price, AWESOME! Food was good, Loved the Crab legs (which is worth the price alone), good variety of food to choose from, desserts was good also. Servers we had was excellent, very attentive, kept our table clean of used dishes and the bowl for the shells empty. Not once did we have to look for them, they were there re-filling glasses and seeing if we needed anything quite often. Went there when they were just opening for the night, was concerned about variety at that time, but I think it worked out to be the best time to attend.

It's very good for what it is. I'm not a fan of buffet, but this place is surprisingly good. The best seafood is never going to be buffet style. For the price you are paying per person to do the buffet, there are several other places that you will be able to order better seafood for the same price. Of course, here you are paying for quantity as it is all you can eat, but you can certainly get superior quality elsewhere for a lower price. It is a nice looking place, but it is very loud because of the sheer number of people they pack it. If you are looking for a quiet intimate place, absolutely go someplace else. The service is also lacking, but again that is to be expected with a buffet style that does the volume they do. If all you are looking for in a seafood restaurant is sheer volume of food, this is your go to place. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

Great dinner tonight with family. Their corn bread is so yummy. The all you can eat crab king crab/Dungeon crabs are a steal. The macaroni and cheese is super cheesy, fried scallops are definitely "Chef Ramsey" approved, and service was great. Didn't give it a 5 star because I don't know how many of the staff walked passed food on the ground and didn't bother to pick it up. Everyone wants to eat in a clean environment. For $35.00 a person, can't beat the unlimited crab. The marinated steak was a pretty fatty as well. Will we go again, definitely. I just hope the walk way is much cleaner.

My family and I always go to Captain George's when we go to Virginia Beach. In fact, it is one of the highlights of our trip since we don't have a good seafood buffet where we live. They have a HUGE selection of food on the buffet. In addition to crab legs and other seafood, the have other meats, veggies, soups, a salad bar and a dessert buffet. The restaurant is easily accessible from Laskin Rd. and there is plenty of free parking. The price of the buffet is a little steep (about $30 a person), but the selection and quality are worth the expense.

Never had a bad experience here. Food is great for the price and now they have added lobster to the buffet for an additional price of course. The only 2 things I had a slight problem with was the scallops didn't taste fresh and the crawfish could use some seasoning. The staff is always pleasant and above average. I recommend you go and often.
