I have been to El Azteca more times than I can count! My dad & I get together every week & eat here. The service is better than most restaurants I've ever been to and the staff are always friendly. They basically know us by now! The food is delicious and has never ever been incorrect or cold and always comes out super fast! I don't know how they do it. It's a spot lots of locals come back to again and again. I can't recommend them enough!

I have been eating at this restaurant since I was 14 years old. Over that time, the food has gone tremendously down! Order take out and get nothing like what was described on the menu. This place is like fast food restaurants but even more disappointing. If you can have take out orders ready in 10 minutes on a Saturday night, you are doing something very wrong. Wonder what’s in the food nowadays. I dunno what has changed over the years but this place is on its way to ruining their once was good reputation. Of course a manager cannot speak to me and their immediate response is to try again. This is not my first time being disappointed in the food quality but I am now completely appalled at how poor this restaurant has become. Do not go here if you do not want to be disappointed and/or sick. Plaza Azteca restaurants provide much better food and service. El Azteca is not worth your time or money anymore. I am so sad to see my used to be favorite place providing such low grade food and poor customer service now. I will no longer be eating at what used to be my favorite restaurant of all time.

Normally I would give it a 4 or 5. This visit we had a little extra protein in the rice. They refunded quickly, and the manager bent over backwards, but we will have a hard time going back.

This location on E. Little Creek Road has the best authentic Mexican food in the Tidewater area! I've been going there for many years. The staff is outstanding and the food is excellent! This is a must visit for anyone that loves Mexican food!

One of the few good authentic style Mexican restaurants in the area. Not the best I've ever had, being from the mid-west US I got pretty spoiled with good Mexican food, but certainly one of my go-to spots here when I have the craving for it.
