It's fine. My meal came out a little on the cool side. Marinara is more sweet than savory. First class service. My companions loved their meals!

We are here for the first time during Restaurant Week and it was worth the hype let me tell ya. Fabulous wine list, attentive service, vaguely romantic atmosphere, outstanding food.

What a place! My husband made a reservation for my 21st birthday and it was outstanding. This place is the best italian food you will get in Virginia Beach. Such a very classy and romantic place for dinner.

Food, amazing -otherwise this would be a one star. Service, disgraceful and appalling. Atmosphere, indifferent, cold.

We have been going to Aldo's on almost a weekly basis for the past few years. The staff and managers know us very well and we thought we had a very good relationship. Without going into the boring details of a very bad experience this past Christmas Eve, we were very disappointed. The management knew we were disappointed and because they didn't do too much to gain our loyalty we decided not to go back. After about a month our feelings subsided and we decided to give it another try and we sat at the bar with the two best bartenders Toni and Terri. I went to the manager halfway through our evening to discuss our dissatisfaction regarding Christmas Eve and he basically made excuses for the evening. I then suggested that he comp either a drink or our dessert this evening to make up for the bad experience on Christmas Eve and he said he couldn't do it. I continued to push the issue and he said he would talk to a 2nd manager. He never really apologized for the poor experience Christmas Eve. When we were told that our dessert would be comped I said no thank you, I would rather pay for it because I was more upset that he didn't apologize and think to comp us on his own. IT WAS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY. We may never go back to Aldo's again because of the way the management handled the the situation.I believe the manager's name was Mike. If only he had said, "I'm so sorry for your poor experience, please let me treat you to your dessert". We really didn't need anything comped we just wanted an acknowledgement.
