UNETHICAL and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Our party of 6 pre-ordered 6 chocolate-covered strawberries. Five (5) were delivered. Billed for 6. Questioned waitress. "Oh, we only had 5 left in the kitchen." So, she knew AND billed the full amount, and didn't communicate the issue before bringing only 5. She did ask if we wanted that portion of the bill adjusted. Well, of course. The bar tender had been there 4 days, did not appear trained, and was getting recipes off his phone. Good trooper on his part. Bad management on the restaurant. Every mixed drink came from the bar. Shirley Temple? Soda with cherry spritzer? Yep, all from the bar. One of our party ordered a drink and didn't receive it. Charged anyway! Our party tried to address it. Bartender's response? I told her, indicating the waitress. This I might have thought was only an error if we hadn't had the other ethical issue with the bill. Remember the strawberries? Long waits between ordering and receiving the food with no contact with wait staff. Love the idea of The Melting Pot. Hate the execution.

I really like Melting Pot restaurants. I went to a Bellevue location and Seattle - both are great. The food is interesting, with many options and tastes awesome! Staff is professional and friendly. I would grab my friends to visit this place as many times as possible!

This restaurant was really awesome! Its a pretty fancy fondue place, with a upscale feel. At first I thought they bring you prepared entree's, but you get to cook those just like your fondue! With the different courses you get to pick a salad, a fondue type, choose your dipping items, pick a broth type for your entree's, then your entree's to cook in the broth. And then you can get a desert and dippers. The entree's are mostly surf and turf, and they bring you lots of sauces along with them. The food was great, and since you cook it in the broth at your table yourself, you can prepare your meat or veggies however you like! Our waiter was awesome and the staff was great. My only real gripe with the place was how expensive it can get. If you get their full fondue experience I think they called it, your looking at $70 per person with drinks! But all in all it was a special time and really fun. A good special occasion place to dine.

The experience was great and so was the food. Everyone was nice as well. However my girlfriend bought the ultimate date night package and it did not live up to expectations. First off we were supposed to get private seating but we did not. The table was supposed to be set up when we got there with rose pedals and candles and the 12 roses. They put that down after we got seated which was kind of uncomfortable. And lastly, they did not include the personal message that came with the package. Overall the restaurant is great but the ultimate date night package was not.

Lovely server and fantastic meal. I’ll definitely come back when I visit Seattle again.
