We just dropped in for a break from sightseeing to have a drink and something small to eat. The crab cakes were fab and came with a little bowl of potato soup. Very tasty. Our server Charlie was so friendly and gave us good recommendations for the nightlife in the area. We also spoke to the owner (she's Irish too, always a plus) really interesting lady and we loved how she picked those premises because the address was 1916. Definitely worth a visit, the Kells craft beer is very nice too!

I do love a good Irish bar and attend many because I enjoy the people and the environment. Kells Irish Restaurant and Pub is conveniently located downtown Seattle at the Pike Place Market. If you sit outside on a nice sunny day in Seattle you can see the waterfront and amazing views from the outside seating. The interior is very clean, welcoming and place you would like to spend with family, friends or even a cozy date. Theirs live music, lots of yummy bites, meals and beers to choose from as well as your Irish Whiskeys. Check this place out, you might fall in love with it and make it your favorite watering hole.

Several of my friends suggested visiting Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub on a recent trip to the Seattle, Washington, area. Just steps from the Pike Street Market and the "original" Starbucks, I took them up on their suggestion. Polite and friendly staff - clean and modern "rustic" establishment. A great selection of whiskey and other drinks, Kells is located on Post Alley, in what the name implies - an alley. At first, I couldn't find it until directed up a step hill by a fellow tourist. Only spent an hour at Kells as I was off to the airport and my return to South Florida. Next time around, I will be sure to visit for a bit longer. William E. Lewis Jr. Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Food was okay but the service was absolutely AWEFUL! Had to ask to get drinks, never came back to check for refills or how our meal was. Worst experience in Seattle!

Kells is a bit of an enigma. You get a nice, quiet Irish pub in the mornings, but it turns into a crowded hopping place in the later part of the nights. The Irish breakfast on Sundays is good, even if I felt like it was missing a few Irish touches. The staff are great, and friendly, and the bartender during the day will talk your ear off about baseball!
