The owner Frank treated us with kindness and patience after my wife and I flip flopped on material choices a half dozen times. There's no replacement for a well ran local shop. I shopped around with Home Depot and others, but Bay Area's prices were fair and they did a superb job on the install of over 3000ft2 of hickory floors and carpet. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I just bought bamboo floors and I had to have the material within two days. David is super cool and totally on top of it. He didn't over promise, he was cool and confident about his vendor because he had such a good relationship with them and it all worked out. They delivered on time, you can call him on his cell phone with questions and he'll answer you right away. Very professional, well-managed local business. Support the good ones!!

Did an estimate right away and was able to schedule work the next day. Worker was professional, but not timely. Almost three hours late, but he was done so fast and the job looks great. Very impressed, worth the premium, just next time you guys will be late please call.

Thank you Dave Montanari. A small art club at Aptos Junior High is creating a lovely public art mosaic on Soquel Drive and Vienna. They are designing a mosaic to cover a wall frequently tagged. Dave generously donated tow boxes of river rock tiles for the project. Thank you Bay Area Floors and Dave. drive by next month and take a look. Mosaic coming soon.

do not shop here this place is a complete rip off. they do horrible work and are very overpriced. the owner's name is frank and his son micah is a complete drug addict and should not be allowed in anybody's home or business. caught him using drugs and he constantly looked high and had a bad attitude. very unprofessional
