Dean at Alberta Hardwood was incredible to work with, and gave us 5/5+ service through out the entire process. We replaced over 2000 sq feet or flooring in our home (Mirage engineered hardwood, carpet, and tile), and Dean was excellent to deal with from the very first meeting all the way through to the installation. He was personally at our home every day during the demo of the existing floor, and install of all the new flooring, and not a single detail was overlooked. Their installation team was top notch, and the job they did on the install was immaculate. The job started on-time and was completed on-time with no issues. We attribute this to the high standards AB hardwood has for their sub contractors, and that Dean was present each day at the job site to check the progress. We highly recommend Dean and AB Hardwood, and will use them again on our next renovation project.

Well for starter we been dealing with this problem for 5 years. We had an engineered floor laid while we were on holidays. Came home to a giant mess on my deck which was our old floor ripped up and cardboard from new floor. New engineer hickory floor has cracked and heaved all over house. This was not a cheap floor paid over 20,000 for it. Some cracks are 1/2 inch high have pictures to prove. They came back about 2 years ago fixed a couple board and sanded down other boards taking the finish off. Since then they have sent all kind of specialist to look at floor a couple more board fixed but not all. Have two full boxes sitting in my hallway waiting to be fixed. The last time they were here was Jan 30 and i expected to finally have the work done and not have to worry about it. 5 years this has been going on. Not sure what next move will be, have tried to phone to line something up but nothing happens. So looks like better business bureau or im thinking news media maybe they can get something happening. Or social media. Not like this was a cheap floor. As a response to the owner I take it you have not done any research into the history of this problem. Ray your salesman was the one who sold us on this floor due to the problem we were experiencing with our previous hardwood floor (Canadian Maple) it was shrinking because of Alberta's dry climate even with two humidifying systems. The solution according to Ray was your Antique Impressions engineered hardwood floor his words were "This floor performs amazing in the Alberta climate and would be the solution to our problem". His other sales pitch was we (Alberta Hardwood flooring) not only warranty the product but also the installation for 25 years. As mentioned before this problem has been dragging on for 5 years so maybe you are trying to run out the 25 year warranty. Back to how the product was represented initially there was nothing more we needed to do to accommodate this product as I mention before the product performed amazingly in our climate. The other piece of history in this that confirms what I'm saying is true was the installers brought the floor up to Olds and installed it the same day without acclimating the floor and when I asked Ray (Your representative) about this he told me there was no reason to acclimate this floor because of the construction of this floor, so that tells me climate has no bearing on this floor. Now when we have a problem with this floor you come out with reasons that in the sale of the floor were not a problem (Humidity). So you can see this floor was greatly misrepresented and by the way your upper management has made no contact with us and has been the case all the way through this We have been so patient through all this and all we want is the floor we payed for is that to much to ask. so how about instead of trying to flipping the blame and side stepping the issue stand by your product and how it was represented and come and fix this floor is that not fair?

We recently had our main floor updated with engineered hardwood. We went to Alberta Hardwood on the recommendation of family and friends. The installer with occasional help completed the work in 3 days. The recommendations proved to be justified. Larry Rae and team did a marvelous job at very good value. We highly recommend Larry and Alberta Hardwood.

We recently underwent an entire home renovation, and had Alberta Hardwood supply the engineered hardwood, carpet, floor tile, shower tile and backsplash tile. Calvin and Allie were wonderful to work with! Allie was so helpful with picking all of the materials, giving great ideas to capture the look we were going for. We would absolutely recommend!! - Sarah & Graham

I hired AHF to fix a stain on my floor, it took them 6 months to get it done (they ordered the wrong material at first and left my kitchen with a hole in it , finally after 6 months they dispatched someone to finish the job and it was half done ... they used the wrong piece and you can tell that it`s patch on my floor (even though the contract have the right piece but he didn't replace) so now I have to find someone else to fix their mess. ***** Just an Update : After a visit and some back and forth emails, they have finally decided to replaced the board since it was not fitting properly Thanks
