We've had excellent service in every department here except doors and flooring. The man in the doors department asked my boyfriend if he was really going to let a woman make the decision on a door. This door was for a house that I personally own so I believe I should be able to choose a door as a woman without being criticized. He was extremely rude toward me. We were both so upset about his chauvinist comments that we just left the store. As we were walking out of his section he was yelling rude comments to us. At another visit to the store we were just browsing tile mosaics and the worker came up to us complaining about having to pull something for another customer and the store being understaffed. All of these comments were unprompted because we didn't even ask for help, we were just looking.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff; a wonderful lady helped us with our plumbing supplies when we were stumped. Good prices and great variety.

Every time I go in to make a payment there are always new cashiers and I wind up getting bumped to the end of the line because the only senior cashier is helping all the other new cashiers. And even after they are able to help the senior cashier is constantly having their attention pulled away. They need more than one seasoned cashier when they are training.

My wife and I came to the store on a Sunday to look for lighting for rental properties we have. We ended up applying for a Lowe's credit card and were set to purchase a washer and dryer, bathroom vanity, refrigerator, toilet and $200 in light fixtures. We had the purchase prepared and only needed to return to Great Falls and confirm a few measurements on the refrigerator. After measuring, we found the refrigerator we looked at would not work due to the size. We reviewed a number of refrigerators on line for much of the morning and were unsuccessful in finding one that would fit. We were informed becuse we did not have an appliance that was over $396 dollars, we would not qualify for free delivery to Great Falls. They did say they would be more than happy to deliver to us for a fee of $150. The total of the washer and dryer was $750. The vanity and toilet was $300. The lighting fixtures we purchased were over $200. I tried to reach the store manager, Tom Smith but was routed back and forth from the operator to customer service over 5 times and never did speak with him. Unfortunately, we were forced to cancel the entire order and work with Home Depot. I find it hard to believe Lowes would give up a $1,000+ sale becuse one appliance did not meet the $396.
